Catherine Anne Pace is an audio-visual artist specialized in audio engineering, filmmaking, and historic preservation.

 

A student of acoustics and design since childhood with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Ms. Pace merges her professional experience in construction and historic building renovation with her artistic work in sound design and visual art. Her mission is to preserve history and demonstrate social progress and technological innovation from the past through modern time.

 

Ms. Pace curates an archive consisting of historic and educational materials on original formats such as 16mm celluloid film, magnetic sound, and digital formats from a variety of technological eras over time through modern-day technology. She has experience in creating documentary films for non-for-profit and community organizations as well as independent projects editing historic film footage and sound material for the purpose of education, sharing history, and inspiring thought and conversation.
